An early postcard entitled “On the Way to Rubio Canyon, Pasadena in the Distance” with hand-colored graphics depicting an open streetcar (no. 3) and a full complement of passengers bound for the Mount Lowe Railway. The hand-written note reads “Had a fine trip up but it is as cold as charity.”
